Wadi Making Machine

About the Technology
Wadi making machine is developed for mechanization of Indian traditional foods. The main components of machine are hopper feeding system, servo motor, power transmission system, die to form batter into desired shapes. Tray table consists of five nos. of nozzles to facilitate five droppings of wadi batter in single stroke. Servo motor provides rotation to rollers which control accurate weight of batter. Total power requirement of the machine is 3.0 HP. Tray movement is also controlled by servo motors. The capacity of machine is approx 150-300 kg/h (with each wadi dropping weighing about 15g). The capacity can be increased if dropping size increases. Nine different shapes of wadi can be made by changing the shape of the die.
